COACHING & PERSONAL TRAINING
Coaching gives you direction, instruction and a second set of eyes on your performance and your progress. Establishing goals, designing programs, providing motivation and feedback, as well as advice and perspective, are all things to look for in a coach. On the bike or in the gym, let a one-on-one session take the guess work out of your workouts. The right coach can make a difference.
PHYSIOLOGICAL TESTING & EVALUATION
Resting Metabolic Rate, VO2Max, Lactate Threshold, and Indoor/Outdoor Field Tests all provide essential information to help esstablish current conditioning when designing training programs. I use this data to establish individual training zones and track your progress throughout the year. The more you know, the faster you will go.
CLASSES & GROUP TRAINING
I lead indoor cycling classes using CompuTrainer's Multirider and RacerMate programs for individuals and groups of up to 8. Run specific interval workouts! Be challenged by an existing course profile! Work on your own pedal efficiency or compete against other riders! Remember, there is no coasting on a CompuTrainer. PRESENTATION & INSTRUCTION
Sharing experiences, and providing inspiration and advice about health and fitness on and off the bike is part of my responsibility to the cycling community and the general health population. I have presented fitness and cycling workshops around the world and presented lectures to major US financial corporations on cycling, fitness and related topics.
I provide all these services and more as Head Coach for the Performance Center at Chelsea Piers, a USA Triathlon approved, regional training center dedicated to swimming, running, cycling and metabolic testing for multi-sport athletes.
