A good Bike Fit enhances your whole cycling experience, and is essential to your comfort and performance on the bike. The right bike fit will help you use your muscles effectively and increase your power output, as well as avoid over-use injuries or muscle tension and chronic pain. If you are concerned with taking your performance to the next level, adjusting your position on the bike can improve your aerodynamic profile, and help you go faster with less effort.
During the fit process, it’s important to consider your riding experience, level of fitness, individual measurements, range of motion and any previous injuries or physical limitations. In addition to taking basic body measurements, we perform a postural screening and flexibility assessment to assure your best performance and a comfortable position. We also adjust your cleat position for proper alignment and power transfer to the pedals. We check every aspect of your position on the bike, including saddle height, saddle fore-aft position, crank length, handlebar placement and width, stem length, and any other details to optimize your position. A bike that is fit properly for you is just more fun to ride!
